Trust

Security and data handling for hiring teams.

Kagento records how candidates solve real coding tasks with their own tools. The product is built so hiring teams can review evidence while keeping candidate data scoped, explainable, and removable.

EU infrastructure

Application infrastructure runs in Germany. The primary database is Supabase in eu-central-1, Frankfurt.

Assessment data

We store candidate identity, invite status, session metadata, submissions, scores, reviewer notes, and replay assets needed for hiring review.

Isolated execution

Candidate sessions run in isolated containers or virtual clusters with per-session credentials and automatic cleanup after the assessment lifecycle.

Access control

Organization workspaces restrict candidate invites, notes, scorecards, and replay links to authorized hiring-team members.

What reviewers can see

Candidate invite metadata and assessment status
Final solution, automated score, passed tests, and duration
Terminal replay and recorded task activity when available
Internal reviewer notes and printable scorecard exports

Retention and deletion

  • Session containers are ephemeral and are destroyed after completion, expiry, or cleanup.
  • Candidate integrity data is designed around a 30-day default retention window.
  • Submissions, scorecards, and reviewer records can be retained for the hiring decision record unless deletion is requested.
  • Candidates can request access or deletion through the hiring team or Kagento support.
