1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Kagento ("the Platform"), operated by Kagento ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Kagento is a competitive coding platform where users solve programming challenges using AI agents via SSH. The Platform provides isolated container environments, automated scoring, and leaderboards.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and SSH keys.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to escape the container sandbox or access other users' environments.
  • Use the Platform to mine cryptocurrency, run botnets, or perform denial-of-service attacks.
  • Share solutions publicly for active challenges without the task author's permission.
  • Abuse the scoring system or manipulate leaderboards.
  • Upload malicious code in task submissions.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Task Submissions

  • Tasks you author and submit remain your intellectual property.
  • By publishing a task, you grant Kagento a license to host, run, and display it on the Platform.
  • Task images are validated against an allowed base image policy and scanned for vulnerabilities.
  • We reserve the right to remove tasks that violate these terms.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Free accounts have limited daily session time and concurrent sessions.
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which permanently removes all your data.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kagento shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
